Authorities say seven people are hurt, including a 5-year-old boy in critical condition, after a car ran a red light and caused a three-vehicle crash on Indianapolis' far east side.
Indianapolis Fire Department Capt. Rita Burris says two Indianapolis Metro police officers and a bystander performed CPR on the 5-year-old until medics arrived at the scene of the crash Sunday afternoon.
Burris says the boy was riding in the van when a car came through a red light and struck it. Two adults and 13-year-old also in the van also were injured and were listed in serious condition at Indianapolis hospitals. Two women in the car also are listed in serious condition, and a man in a second car traveling behind the van is listed in good condition.
