A collision involving a combine and a passenger van has left three people dead in western Indiana.
The Journal and Courier reports three other people have been taken to hospitals with serious injuries following the crash about 5 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Indiana 25 and a Tippecanoe County road about 15 miles southwest of Lafayette.
The newspaper quotes investigators as saying the driver of the combine drove into the path of the van.
A photo on the newspaper's website showed the front the combine collided with the passenger side of the van and crushed the vehicle's roof.
