The Hamlet Police Department says the best way to prevent crime is for residents to report suspicious activity to local law enforcement. Any incident that threatens life or is an immediate threat to property justifies a 911 call. Residents may call 574-772-3771, a 24-hour non-emergency number, to report any other suspicious activity.
