ELKHART, Ind. The movement behind Sarah Crane, an Elkhart teen who died from cancer, is still going "Sarah Strong."

Diamond Air Incorporated held a silent auction at Elkhart Memorial High School to raise money for the Sarah Strong Foundation.

Gift certificates to restaurants, hair salons and other local businesses were up for grabs.

Folks could come in and out throughout the afternoon to place their bids.

“There's not a lot of people who actually go back and remember these guys and think about the strong will and the fight that they put in and say a lot of positive things,” said Jennifer Rogers, organizer, Diamond Air Inc. “It's sad and mourning, so I kind of wanted to put a positive twist.”

Around 35 items were auctioned off, and a cleaning system was raffled.
