No injuries after cattle get loose in New Carlisle

New Carlisle, Ind. Authorities are glad no one was hurt when a feisty bull and heifer got loose in New Carlisle.

Law enforcement and workers from the Humane Society spent four hours chasing the pair near Snowberry Road, just south of Edison.

The Saint Joseph County Sheriff's posse was called in to help out on horseback.

At one point, the bull tried to charge at authorities, but they maintained a safe distance and most of them were in vehicles during the pursuit.

The Saint Joseph County Humane Society is now looking for the cattle's owner.

Anyone with information is asked to call them or county police.
