The 2013 Roof Sit is going on from June 17-21 at the Martin's in Heritage Square.

It's the 17th annual event, sponsored by U93 and Martin's Super Markets to raise funds and awareness for child abuse prevention. In all, they have raised nearly $2 million.

Rob Sparks, of the Rob and Alisha Show on U93, has dedicated a week to sleeping, eating and working on location as a way to bring awareness to the issue.

U93 is broadcasting from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on location, while hosting events throughout the week, like trivia, concerts and "kid's day" to bring in more crowds.

All funds raised will go to benefit local non-profit organizations that focus on child abuse prevention. Click here to learn more about Roof Sit.

To donate, stop by any Martin's Super Markets through the week, send a check to PO Box 6535, South Bend, IN or call 1-800-853-KIDS (5437). You can also donate online, by clicking here.
