Indianapolis metro police have arrested two teenagers they believe are responsible for shootings in a two-day crime spree that ended in a four-vehicle crash.
The shootings include the slaying of a Southport man, 38-year-old John Yingling. He was founded dead in the cab of his truck Wednesday morning on Indy's south side.
A second man was shot later Wednesday morning while walking his dog near Eagle Creek Park on the city's northwest side. Authorities say he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. That shooting spurred a chase that ended with the crash in nearby Brownsburg.
Police say they're questioning a 15-year-old while a 17-year-old receives medical attention. Both boys have been arrested on preliminary charges of dangerous possession of a firearm and resisting law enforcement.
