A southern Indiana coroner says two skulls found in a barn loft are likely more than 100 years old.
Lawrence County Coroner John Sherrill says preliminary forensic findings show the skulls are likely those of native Americans who lived in the deserts of the southwestern U.S.
Sherrill say it's unclear how the skulls got to the barn near Springville. He says the property possibly was owned in the past by a collector of such artifacts.
The Times-Mail reports (http://bit.ly/OBkDPH) the skulls were found this month during a cleaning of the barn about 60 miles southwest of Indianapolis.
