Two former central Indiana high school coaches have pleaded guilty to three counts of child seduction and must surrender their teaching licenses.
Former basketball coach Tim Wolf and tennis coach Jeff McGown of Martinsville High School were each sentenced to nine years in Morgan Superior Court Wednesday. The Indianapolis Star and WRTV report the judge suspended the sentences and allowed them to serve their time on probation.
The men were charged in connection with separate sexual encounters with a former 17-year-old female student in 2011.
The age of consent in Indiana is 16, but prosecutors said they brought the charges because both men were in positions of authority.
Wolf and McGown must register as sex offenders. Neither can contact the girl.
Wolf resigned in February. McGown was suspended in April.
