Police say they seized about 3,000 pounds of marijuana and arrested one man in northern Indiana after a drug investigation.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Roger Poppelwell says the seizure occurred Wednesday in Ligonier, about halfway between Fort Wayne and South Bend.
He did not release the name of the person arrested or the exact location of the seizure because of the ongoing investigation.
Poppelwell says the investigation began with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Texas. He says the 3,000 pounds of marijuana was packed in bundles to be distributed. It had an estimated street value of $4.5 million.
