Coroner releases cause of death for Michigan State student

We now know how a Michigan State student died in Porter County.

Back in January, 20-year-old Rylan Cotter's body was found on the Brassie Golf Course in Chesterton.

A coroner announced Friday that Cotter committed suicide by jumping from an electrical tower.

The college student suffered massive blunt force trauma to her chest and abdomen.

Officers found Cotter's car in a parking lot about a half-mile from her body.

It is still unclear what cotter was doing in Chesterton.
