Four female former Ball State University students have been charged in an attack on a woman at an off-campus party last fall.

Delaware County prosecutors filed felony battery charges Thursday against Amanda Polson, Kari Streib, Rene Whiteley and Ashley Kirkman. All four women are 20 years old.

The charges stem from an Oct. 7 fight in which a 20-year-old Ivy Tech Community College student suffered a shattered elbow and other injuries.

The woman, whom police did not identify, was expected to recover.

Police domestic violence investigator Jami Brown said the suspects bragged about the attack on the Internet.

None of the women could be reached for comment.
