A man who pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine across Indiana has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Twenty-nine-year-old Gregory Vanes was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis. Judge Larry J. McKinney also imposed five years supervised release after Vanes is released from prison.
Prosecutors say Vanes ran an operation that distributed meth smuggled from Mexico along the Interstate 70 corridor between Indianapolis and Terre Haute.
They say the meth came from an operation that smuggled it across the border in Texas and California and transported the drug to Indianapolis.
