FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say one person has died and three others have been critically injured in a crash that has closed southbound lanes of Interstate 69 just north of Fort Wayne.

Allen County Sheriff's Department spokesman Sgt. Jeremy Tinkel says a possibly disabled semitrailer was parked on the side of the highway when it was sideswiped by another semitrailer.

It wasn't immediately clear where the person killed and those injured were at the time of the crash.

A short time after the first crash, a crash occurred in the northbound lanes in the same area.
