Women feel pain more intensely than men

Women apparently feel pain more intensely than men.

Researchers reviewed pain scores in medical records of more than 72,000 adults.

Women reported more pain than men in just about every disease category.

It's been well established that women are more likely to suffer from fibromyalgia and migraine headaches.

These gender differences could be important in research on how effective pain medications are for both men and women.
