"Nourish Your Brain" at free class this weekend

When we choose healthy foods, we're not only nourishing our bodies but also our brains.

That’s the subject of a free class this weekend from the St. Joseph County Extension Homemakers this Saturday, called “Nourish Your Brain.”

The program will be presented by Joanie Younce, a Kosciusko County Extension Educator, at the Harris Township Library on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Other events in the series are as follows:

Saturday, April 28: Crafty Day at Evangel Heights United Methodist Church
Classes available: Stepping stones, glass bead bracelet, magic quilt, locker hooking, weaving an angel, snowman or tissue holder, making a pinecone wreath
Cost varies $15-20, which includes all supplies to make the item
Must register in advance; you can pick up a form at the county libraries or at the St. Joseph County extension office.

Wednesday, May 23: “Unlock the Key to Vitamin D” p
Presented by Kosciusko County Extension Educator Joanie Younce at 6:30 p.m.
