Memorial MedFlight is being recognized for its five years of outstanding service.
The transport system will be recognized by the City of South Bend and the State of Indiana at a ceremony today.
MedFlight is the only air medical transport in the region.
It has transported more than 1,100 patients around the clock during its five years.
The ceremony begins Monday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. on the helipad.
