IU Health Goshen Hospital has welcomed their very own 2012 New Year Baby, Henri Augustus McGuire.
Baby Henri was born Sunday Morning, January 1, at 5:03 a.m.
He weighed in at 8 lbs. 11.3 oz. and is 21 inches long.
Henri's parents, Angelique and Samuel, of Goshen, say they were surprised by his early arrival of their first child, but say, "We are very excited and very blessed."
He wasn't expected to be born until January 6.
IU Health Goshen gave Baby Henri and their parents a gift basket congratulating the three with baby essentials including a robe and slippers for Angelique.
