Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center teamed up with Saint Michael's church to spread information about being heart smart.
From health screenings to a nutritional free lunch, the event brought together the different factors that help people of all ages stick to a healthy lifestyle.
Organizers say they hope this event helps educate people on what steps they need to take and what they should watch out for.
“We see this as not only outreach but gives our church a chance to provide much needed information to those that maybe don't have the access to it that others would have,” says Jon Badur from St. Michael and all Angels Episcopal Church.
The fair honored February as American Heart Month and focused on how to make the necessary changes to lower the risk of heart disease.
