The newest technology developed to get rid of cellulite has been approved by the FDA, and doctors say it really works.
The cellulaze laser fiber is used to fight unsightly cellulite by going deeper than other treatments.
The laser works under the skin and is inserted through tiny incisions. The area is numbed with local anesthetic.
The laser also breaks the fibrous bands that pull the skin down, causing the puckering effect.
Finally, it's aimed at the top layer of the skin to get it to produce more collagen which will cause the skin to tighten.
The average cost of treatment is between $5,000 and $6,000.
On average, this cellulite laser procedure will take one to two hours depending on the size of the area being treated.
