Course to help people become certified health workers

Those living in the Michiana community have the opportunity to become certified health workers.

These people serve as a bridge between health and social service industry and the community.

To become a certified worker, people must attend a three-day training course at Bethel College. The course runs from Sept. 22 -24. The deadline to apply is Sept. 1.

Participants must be at least 18, an Indiana resident, and have at least a high school diploma or GED.

There is a $35 application fee and a tuition cost of $450.
