Controversial Texas abortion law moving forward
A controversial abortion law in Texas is moving forward.
A federal appeals court has lifted the ban on the Texas law that forces women seeking an abortion to look at a sonogram of their fetus and hear a description of its development, before being allowed to have the procedure.
A three-judge panel overturned a U.S. district court judge's decision that blocked enforcement of the law.
Texas Governor Rick Perry says the ruling is,"a victory for all who stand in defense of life."
