American Cancer Society needs your help with research study

You can honor those who have or are fighting breast cancer on Saturday at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K at Howard Park.

Something special taking place at this year’s event is enrollment for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Prevention Study.

It's a research study that will help determine genetic, lifestyle and environmental factors that cause or prevent cancer.

The American Cancer Society is asking for individuals 30-65 who have never been diagnosed with cancer and who are willing to make long-term commitments by completing brief follow-up surveys at home every few years.

You can enroll in the survey at the walk on Saturday or for more information now, you can click on the Big Red Bar.
