Relief for sufferers of Obessive Compulsive Disorder

Researchers at Duke University may have found a cause of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) while studying mice.

Scientists bred mice to lack a specific gene, and when they implanted it back into the mice, the symptoms of OCD stopped.

Moreover, they were also able to stop anxious behavior by treating the mice with antidepressants.

Researchers said the gene deficit may interfere with communication between brain circuits.
