It's being called an addiction resource for the social networking generation. A pharmaceutical company has launched a Myspace page called Addiction411, aimed at educating the public about opioid addiction.
The site offers information on the dangers of using opioid prescription painkillers, a questionnaire to help identify addiction, and resources on treatment options.
Opioids included commonly prescribed drugs like oxycodone, morphine and methadone.
The company behind the site, markets another opioid called Suboxone.
