If your child is still in need of their vaccines for school, you can get them for free in Elkhart County on Wednesday; but it will be first come, first serve.
The Elkhart County Health Department is holding a walk-in clinic from 1-5 p.m. at 608 Oakland Avenue in Elkhart. There is no charge but they will close the doors early if they run out of vaccines.
Parents must bring their child's complete immunization record to the clinic. If you’d rather schedule an appointment than walk in you can call (574) 523-2127.
There will also be clinics at the same location on September 22 from 1-5 p.m. and September 29 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 3-5 p.m.
