UPDATE: Man identified in deadly motorcycle crash

An early morning motorcycle accident left a man dead in Marshall County.

It happened Sunday morning, shortly before 4:30 a.m. Crews responded to the scene in the 2000-block of State Road 331, just east of Bremen.

Police say 39-year-old Stephen Kessenger of Bremen crossed the center line, left the roadway and hit several mailboxes. Kessenger was found in the front yard of a home, his motorcycle was in the center of the road.

Kessenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating why the motorcycle left the road, but it's believed no other vehicles were involved.

Kessenger would have been 40-years-old on Monday.

Toxicology samples were taken and results should be available by the end of the week.
