Clay Twp. The county will open bids for demolition work Tuesday, of a Clay Township home that was found filthy and filled with cats.

James Robison, Sr., 76, is charged with six counts of animal cruelty.

When the home in the 50,000-block of Ida Street was discovered in April, only animals were living inside. Officers who went in had to use respirators. The floor was said to be covered in a slippery slime. Nearly 40 cats were removed from the home.

Robison is expected back in court on August 25th, for a pretrial hearing.
