A local factory worker is recovering after getting injured on the job.
At approximately 9 p.m., South Bend Police and fire department tactical rescue team were called to the Steel Warehouse Campus on the city's Southwest Side.
There they found a male employee pinned to the ground by a large piece of steel.
It took rescue workers more than 20 minutes to free that individual, who was taken to the hospital with a possible broken leg.
It's still unclear how the accident occurred.
