Woman dies from injuries in Dec. South Bend stabbing

A South Bend woman has died after being stabbed in a Michigan St. home one week ago.

A family friend tells NewsCenter16, Sandra Price, died from her injuries. Four others were also wounded in the attack.

The call came in around 9:40 p.m. for a home invasion in the 1000 block of N. Michigan St. on Dec. 28th.

When police arrived on the scene, five people were attempting to flee with items allegedly stolen from the home.

All five suspects have only been charged with robbery and burglary, so far. More severe charges are expected later this week.
