Woman accidently shoots herself in Concord Township

A woman was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound this afternoon after what police have now confirmed was an accidental shooting.
It happened around 1:30 at a home in the 23000 block of Rebecca Dr. in Concord Township just southeast of Elkhart County.
Police say 46-year-old Tina Poe was trying to unload her .22-calliber pistol when it discharged causing a round to hit her left leg.
She was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
