Whirlpool recognized for donation to Hurricane Sandy relief
Whirlpool is being recognized for its big donation in response to Hurricane Sandy. The American Red Cross Thursday thanked the company for its $75,000 donation in response to the October 2012 disaster.
Local volunteers who made their way to the East Coast to help out, were also recognized. More than 1,000 Red Cross workers are still on the ground in New York.
