Avoid being outside during prime mosquito biting times from dusk to dawn if possible.
Use insect repellent on clothes and exposed skin.
Try to wear long-sleeves and long pants.
Make sure your windows and doors have screens, and that the screens are in good shape.
And use mosquito netting if you're sleeping outdoors.
