While the storm brought desperately needed rain to parts of Michiana, it also left behind power outages in its wake.
Midwest Energy Cooperative tells Newscenter 16 that, as of 9:45 Saturday tonight around 500 customers are still without power in our viewing area.
Most of those homes are in the hard-hit areas of Edwardsburg and Cassopolis where the storm brought significant damage with broken poles and downed power lines.
Although the Edwardsburg area sustained the most physical damage, outages are widely scattered across southwest Michigan.
Their crews will be working throughout the night but they don't know when full power will be restored.
