The first happened around 5:00 p.m., when Warsaw Police Narcotics officers recieved a tip about an active meth lab in the 3700 block of West Old Road 30, on the west side of Warsaw.

No one was home on the scene, but Sheriff's deputies later located 40-year-old Jacob P. Miller, of Warsaw, walking in the area with a fishing pole and bucket. Police found Methamphetamine in the manufacturing process in the bucket.

The apartment, adjoining apartments, and a downstairs restaurant were evacuated and the fire department was called fearing a pending explosion. The Indiana State Police clandestine lab team was called and cleaned up the scene. Due to the fumes, the Kosciusko County Health Department temporarily shut down the restaurant. Warsaw Police are currently looking for the renter of that apartment. The renters name is not being released.

Then later that night, around 9:30 p.m., Warsaw Police Narcotics officers made an undercover purchase of Marijuana and arrested 19-year-old Justin Z. Babendrager, of Warsaw.

Undercover officers purchased approximately one pound of marijuana from Babendrager at a family housing complex located at 498 Clinic Court. One juvenile fled the scene and Warsaw Police are currently looking for them. Another juvenile at the location was released.
