Warsaw man arrested for child neglect

A Warsaw man is behind bars Friday night after he allegedly injured his girlfriend's two-year-old son.

Bradley Waiken, 24, was taken into custody after Kosciusco Community Hospital contacted police about the toddler's injuries.

Investigators say the two-year-old was transferred to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, suffering from multiple bruises and a skull fracture.

The boy also had obvious injuries to his head and groin area.

Waiken, the child's mother's live-in boyfriend, was charged with felony child neglect and felony battery of a child.

He's currently being held in the Kosciusko County Jail on $100,000 bond.
