Those at the Center for the Homeless got a little bit of a treat Wednesday.
Carbon's Golden Malted brought their kitchen waffle truck to the center to serve breakfast and lunch.
The center's kitchen staff serves meals every single day, but the costs can be high.
“When someone donates a meal to us, it's a huge impact on our operating costs. “They've served breakfast and lunch to us today and that offsets us by a couple thousand dollars,” said Steve Camilleri, Executive Director at the Center For The Homeless. “And I have to admit, every penny counts to us right now when you have a $3 million budget.”
