Warsaw Police have also been busy over the past two weeks investigating more than two dozen thefts from parked vehicles around the city.

Police arrested 28-year-old Gene Poe for criminal trespassing Friday after one of the theft victims caught him in action.

Police suspect other thieves have been involved in the robberies as well.

Most of the thefts have occurred to unlocked vehicles or near the victims' homes.

Stolen items range from purses to electronics many of them left out in sight.

Warsaw Police urge everyone to lock your cars and make sure you take valuable items inside or hide them out of site.

If you have any info on the string of robberies, call police at 574-372-9538.
