U.S. Attorney adds sex trafficking charges to a South Bend man accused of murder

A South Bend man already accused of murder is now facing federal sex trafficking charges.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Nathan Huey-Dingle, 31, was charged this week with sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and transporting across state lines for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

He was arrested in August when investigators say he killed 20-year-old Rachel Woods of South Bend during a trip from Chicago to Indianapolis. An Indiana State Trooper found Woods unresponsive on the should of I-65 in Jasper County. Woods was flown to the hospital where she later died.
