Two people arrested in meth bust in Kosciusko County

A meth lab bust in Kosciusko County landed two people behind bars Monday.

It happened Monday morning in the 300 block of Smith Street in Leesburg. Drug task force officers were there serving warrants when they discovered 20 meth labs inside the home, two of which were active.

Tthomas Rensberger, 36, of Leesburg, and 30-year-old Kira Tuttle of Warsaw were arrested and are now facing a slew of drug charges including felony meth possession.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the scene due to the strong fumes. Fire crews also responded as a precautionary measure.

Both Rensberger and Tuttle are currently being held on bond.
