COESSE, Ind. - A man who re-entered a burning house to rescue a relative, died in the blaze.
It happened at a home in the town of Coesse in Whitley County.
Two children woke some of the adults in the home, and they escaped with their grandparents.
However, the grandfather returned to the home to save his son-in-law.
Both died in the fire.
The house was reduced to rubble.
It could be days before the coroner can officially identify the victims' bodies.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but investigators suspect it may have started with a wood burning stove.
