Two men have been charged in the shooting death of an Elkhart teen days before Christmas.
Thomas Harper, 20, is already in custody on a burglary charge.
He and Antonio Walters, 17, are now both charged with felony murder in what is believed to be a drug deal gone badly.
Two days before Christmas, Devonte Patrick, 18, was found dead in a church parking lot.
Police say Patrick was driving with friends, when one friend arranged to deliver marijuana to Harper.
Harper and Walters allegedly tried to take the drugs without paying and Patrick was shot as he tried to drive away.
Harper has a hearing set for Thursday.
Walters has not been arrested yet.
