Two men arrested after breaking into Warsaw home

An anonymous tip led the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s deputies to apprehend and arrest two men after they broke into a home on the west side of Warsaw Wednesday morning.

Deputies responded to Hartzler Drive at around 11:30 a.m. after receiving information of a possible burglary in process. When officers arrived they learned that the suspects’ car had fled the area and was heading eastbound on Old Road 30 in to Warsaw. The Detectives were able to locate the car at the intersection of Center and Detroit Streets and take the two men into custody.

Charles Carpenter, 25, and Jason Rohrer, 29, both from Warsaw have been preliminarily charged with felony burglary for breaking into the home on Hartzler. Carpenter faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Both Carpenter and Rohrer are being held at the Kosciusko County Jail on hold without bond.
