Two Michiana residents were killed in separate motorcycle crashes outside of the area.
MLive.com reports that 58-year-old Cathy Duryee from Berrien Springs died Thursday in a crash in Muskegon County.
She was riding on a motorcycle with her husband, when a jeep failed to yield the right of way to them. Duryee's husband tried to avoid the jeep and lost control. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash.
Meanwhile a Winamac man died in a motorcycle crash early Saturday morning on an interstate in southeast Missouri.
WKVI reports that 50-year-old Michael Blinn ran off the left side of I-55 in Portageville and was thrown from the bike.P
Blinn sold tractors at Gilsinger Implements in Winamac. Funeral arrangements haven't yet been set.
