Two in critical condition after accident in Rochester
A driver and her 17-month-old passenger are in critical condition after an accident in Rochester.
It happened on U.S. 31 and Olson Road around 1:20 p.m.
22-year-old Sheyleena Parker was driving eastbound on Olson Road, when she failed to yield, and her car was struck by a semi.
The driver, 54-year-old Michael Jacobson, was not injured. His semi was pulling a trailer loaded with gravel.
Both Parker and 17-month-old Ernest Parker are in critical condition with life threatening injuries.
Investigators say Parker was wearing a seat belt, and Ernest was in a child safety seat.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash.
