HARTFORD, Mich.--- The names of the victims of a a two vehicle, double-fatal crash that occurred on Thursday morning have been released.
Robert Krugman, 66, and his mother, Helen Krugman, 91, both died when their car was struck by an SUV.
The head-on collision occurred on Red Arrow Highway near 70th St. in Hartford Twp, Van Buren Co.
The Michigan State Police and Van Buren Co. Sheriff’s Dept. responded to the scene finding that a 2007 Honda driven by a 66-year-old Watervliet man had collided head-on with a 2009 Ford, Escape driven by a 70-year-old man from Hartford.
The passenger of the Honda, a 91-year-old female from Watervliet, was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival at Lakeland Hospital. The 66-year-old driver of the Honda died shortly after his arrival at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph.
The 70-year-old driver of the Ford Escape was transported to Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet where he is in stable condition.
All three occupants of the vehicles were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. The investigation is ongoing. The names are not being released at this time pending notification of family members.
The crash caused traffic on Red Arrow Highway between 70th St. and 69th St. to be re-routed for several hours.

State police aren't releasing the name of the 70-year-old Hartford man who was driving the SUV. He was taken to Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet for treatment.
