Two arrested in Elkhart County, accused of multiple daytime burglaries

On Friday, members of the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department Detective Bureau located a black Hyundai Sonata that matched the description of a vehicle reported as having been involved in multiple daytime residential burglaries in Jefferson and Concord Townships.

Working in conjunction with Parole District 8, officers found multiple items of stolen property at the residence of Crispin Harper, 20, located on the 55000 block of 2nd Avenue, as well as in the vehicle.

Harper and Kaytlyn Lodewegen, 21, of Mishawaka, were both arrested on preliminary charges of burglary.
