Two Pop-Up Shops to stay open in Downtown South Bend

The holidays are over, and South Bend's Pop-Up Shops have closed, but two participants are staying for good.

South Bend Brew Werks will open in a new location in front of the State Theater. The shop helps people get started brewing beer, wine and soda all in their own home.

Acting Ensemble, Studio 217 has turned their temporary home in the Robertson's Building, into a permanent one. The group hosts free story time for children, and workshops for those over 55.

Eight Pop-Up Shops operated rent-free during the holidays for the second year in a row.
