South Bend A Granger man facing numerous charges after his business was raided had his trial pushed back, after he had trouble with his legal representation.
James LeDonne is charged on 17 counts, including wire bankruptcy and mail fraud.
An attorney had agreed to represent him last month, but has since withdrawn, saying that LeDonne essentially lied to him. That's according to our reporting partners at the The Elkhart Truth .
LeDonne has now asked for a public defender, and the trial rescheduled for July 14.
Agents who raided Paragon Technologies have gathered 5 CD's worth of evidence, Accusing LeDonne of a scheme to trick customers who placed orders with him.
Court documents say LeDonne required deposits of up to 50% on orders, then never delivered the products. He'd allegedly file for bankruptcy to avoid refunding customers.
