The trial of a South Bend man charged with murder continued Tuesday. James Bond is charged with killing Ramon Hamilton in April 2011. The shooting happened at Leland and Lindsey on South Bend's near northwest side.
Police say Hamilton died of multiple gunshots. After a long investigation, Bond was charged with the crime. Jury selection was completed Monday, and several witnesses were called to testify. If convicted, Bond could spend more than 80 years behind bars.
